Abstract or not?

Gem          The definition for abstract is usually that there is no object and no perspective in the picture. Colours are strong and contrasting without much shading which gives the impression of flat areas. It is more or less the opposite of realistic. Composition is a strong element. But there are lots of things between abstract and realistic.

I just painted this colourful picture with acrylics on board which has all the ingredients of an abstract. Probably everybody would describe it as such. It really looks it but is it?

It is actually the refraction of light in a piece of cheap jewellery with all the rainbow colours in it. So basically I just painted an object as it is, close up, filling the canvas. That makes it realistic. Right? So it is not an abstract. Right?

Or wrong?

What is it? Abstract or not?
